This projection is included in the new state plan for vocational rehabilitation approved by the state Board of Education at its October meeting in Jefferson City.

During the past fiscal year, 7,001 Missourians, mostly out-Of-school adults, were rehabilitated by the state Department of Education. Approximately 80 per cent of the services provided these persons were educational. 21 at Mineral Area Osteopathic Hospital. She was a daughter of the late James Meads and Frances Harbour Meads. Her husband, William Abies, preceded her in death in 1920. Surviving are: five children, Muriel Abies, Pomona, Earl Abies, Pulare, tee Abies, Paramount, Lillian (Mrs. Alvis) Brown, Farmington and Scherl reasonable expectation of a job if rehabilitated.

The plan adopted by the Board of Education calls for continued stress on rehabilitation of the severely handicapped. It is estimated that 40 per cent of the approximately 7,575 persons to be rehabilitated this year are now severely disabled. This year an estimated 43,900 Missourians will receive some kind of services under vocational-rehabilitation projects. Tax Reform Act to be discussed The Tax Reform Act of 1976 will be discussed at a workshop and seminar open to all accountants and tax practitioners Nov. 11-12 in Columbia, the Independent Accountants Society of Missouri has announced.

The event will be held at the Hilton Inn. Speakers representing the legal and accounting professions, U.S. Internal Revenue Service and the Missouri Department of Revenue will be included in the program. Other topics will include estate, gift and inheritance taxes. The group said "down-to-earth workshop sessions will be tailored for the smaller practitioner." The tuition will be $45 for the seminar and workshop.

21 at Bonne Terre Hospital. The body was flown to Mississippi for burial. Local arrangements, were by Bull sale next Friday Forty-six performance-proven bulls will be offered for sale in Farmington at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29.

The sale will take place at the Farmington livestock Auction Co. on U.S. 67 two miles north of Farmington. On Nov. 5 at 9 a.m., 235 proven bulls will be offered to customers at the Livestock Center in Columbia.

Charles Gamble, University of Missouri area livestock specialist, said the 280 animals have been selected out of more than 3,000 tested. For more information, Gamble can be reached at 756-4539. Students selling fruit Central High school students will be WELCOME ABOARD John Zapf, grain and livestock farmer from Bismarck, has been appointed chairman of the Missouri Farmers For Ford-Dole Committee. Zapf also is vice president of the Missouri Farm Bureau, a representative on the Missouri Clean Water Commission and a member of the Governor's Advisory Council on Agriculture. His duties with the committee will be to coordinate farmers' activities for the Ford-Dole team throughout Missouri.

George Christopher from Jewish Hospital to HENRY MARLER Henry Samuel Marler, 95, of Esther was born Apr. 16, 1881 in Washington County and died Oct. 20 at Mineral Area Osteopathic Hospital. He was a son of the late Elva and Rachel Marler. He was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie, in 1967.

Surviving are two sons, Elva Marler and Rolla Marler, both of Esther; two daughters, Rachel (Mrs. Andy) Marcrum, Esther and Magdaline (Mrs. Clarence) Moon, Esther; 20 grandchildren and 11 greatgrandchildren. Mr. Marler is in state at Caldwell Funeral Home in Flat River.

Chapel services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Oren Mills officiating. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery. ELLA FARROW Ella Farrow of Potosi was born Oct.

3, 1900 in Washington County and died Oct. 20 at her residence. Surviving are: a brother, Marvin Farrow, Potosi; three nieces, Shirley McConnell, Virburnum, Jeanie Skaggs, Potosi, Mary Laulamondiere," Potosi; a nephew, Perry Farrow, Potosi. The body will be in state at 6 p.m. tonight at Gum and Son Funeral Hbme- in Potosi.

Chapel services are scheduled for 2 i p.m. Sunday. 1 Interment will be at New Masonic Cemetery, Potosi. Truck stolen Farmington police report they are looking for a white flatbed truck stolen from Farmington Building Supply during the night. Officials say the truck was locked in a garage, and entry was made through the door.

The truck has the name of the firm on the side. It was stolen after the business closed Thursday. Officials have asked that anyone having information about the truck contact the police department. Lottery CHICAGO (UPI) The winning numbers drawn Thursday in the Illinois State Lottery's car-a-day-give-away game were 52 and 748. The color was white and the car was Omega.

LILLIE MAY HAHN Lillie May Hahn, 84, of Flat River was born Mar. 18, 1892 near Patton and died Oct. 21 at Mineral Area Osteopathic Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Benjamin and, Harriet Henson. 'Her Henry F.

Hahn, preceded her in death. Surviving are: two daughters, Hazel (Mrs. Douglas) Evans, Ivanhoe, Calif, and Edna May (Mrs. Charles) Mallow, Indio, four sons, Loy Hahn and Goen Hahn of the home, Harold Hahn, St. Ann and Carroll Hahn, DeSoto; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Hahn was a member of Taylor Avenue United Methodist Church. The body will be in state at 7 p.m. tonight at Caldwell Funeral Home. Chapel services are scheduled for 2 p.m.

Both incidents caused loss of electricity to about 200 homes and businesses in the east part of Flat River and in Leadington, Richardson said. He said the outages were short, and both problems have been corrected.

One occurred Thursday morning, and then a separate outage happened about 4:30 p.m. Wind interfered with a conductor in one case and toppled a tree onto a line in the other occurrence, Richardson said. Fire-tag price set Doe Run firemen Thursday night established a $15 rate for fire tags in the community. The ratification took place at a department meeting. The tags now are on sale at Nye's Grocery and at Turner's service station.

The rate had been set at $25 for residents and $50 for farms, but after several meetings the rate was lowered to the $15 per-tag rate.
